





Frank Visconti, AIA, LEED AP
Born in 1964 in New York City, Frank Visconti earned a Bachelors of Architecture
Cum Laude from Syracuse University in 1987. He was awarded the AIA Henry
Adams Medal and the Luther Gifford Prize for graduating first in his class. He
studied in Florence with the renowned modernist, author and Cornell professor,
Colin Rowe. He studied work by the architect Louis Khan after being influenced by
the Phillips Exeter Library where he attended preparatory school.
Though always connected with his New York City roots, he helped found an
architectural practice in Naples, Florida with Andrea Clark Brown, a former
professor. While an associate, he worked on 13 residences and 4 commercial
projects. Frank Visconti became a licensed architect in 1990 and became a
member of the AIA. He was awarded an Florida AIA Unbuilt Design Award in 1990.
Prior to founding Visconti architecture pllc, he had worked closely with the partners
at Gwathmey Siegel and Associates, as the project architect for a new polytechnic
campus in Singapore, several international and national competitions, and NYC
offices for Sony Entertainment including a unique renovation to a NYC public
space at Sony Plaza.
As an associate at Naomi Leff and Associates for 4 years, he completed 5 NYC
intensively detailed NYC apartments, a 14,000 SF residence in Aspen Colorado and
a showroom for a new clothing line at the Tommy Hilfiger headquarters in NYC.
As a project architect for Eric J. Smith Architects for 2 years, collaborating with
designer David Anthony Easton in NYC, he worked on a one-of-kind 13,000 SF
residence in Aspen,Colorado. A large team of specialists was organized for this
unique residence which implemented the most sophisticated building
technologies and materials available. Work completed at these demanding and
rigorous firms has been hands-on from design to construction administration
ranging from intensive $13 million residences to a $300 million campus.
The same standards learned have become a commitment to the practice.
