The Big Cheese shop

Notes:
A 700 SF retail cheese shop. The concept was a "zen barn" space which uses reclaimed heart
pine wood for the decorative beams, columns, trim and millwork. The shop was built as a "green"
project where we used local reclaimed materials, on-site fabrication, and minimal removals. As
the launch of a first time shop owner, the costs were keep minimal and the project was completed
in about 8 weeks. Several architectural techniques were used to increase the visibility of the store
for pedestrians as well as providing a warm and inviting palette.
